Adult Formation
About adult faith formation at St. Mary's -
St. Boniface
St. Mary's organized efforts for Adult Faith Formation
began with the formation of a team who studied the
Bishop's Pastoral Plan for Adult Formation: Our
Hearts Were Burning Within Us.

To ensure an intentional and organized Adult Faith
Formation effort in our parish we try to make it a
priority to :
  1. Commit to putting God first in our lives
  2. Recognize that Adult Faith Formation is a lifelong
    commitment.
  3. Realize that experiences we live everyday are
    faith forming.
  4. Pass on the faith to our children through words
    and actions.
  5. Be reawakened to our faith.
Children's Catechesis

City

Children's Catechesis is a program designed to nurture each
child's relationship to God in Christ Jesus. The lessons are
age-appropriate and faithful to the teachings of the Catholic
Church. They follow the four pillars of the
Catechism of the
Catholic Church and Sacraments, Moral Life, and Prayer. The
activities are designed to involve the students and their families in
catechesis, prayer, and living their faith.

Adult faith formation is defined as any means by
which adults consciously grow in the life of Christ
through prayer, study, experience or reflection. In
simpler terms-it is how each of us grows
spiritually. Adult believers who are dedicated to
their faith must commit themselves to a lifelong
journey of understanding their faith, proclaiming
their faith, and living their faith.
